Women at Work Enhancing Qualitative Teacher Education in Nigeria
The National Association of Women in Colleges of Education (WICE) is a professional body established to promote the welfare, professional development, and academic excellence of women lecturers and educators in Nigeria's Colleges of Education (COEs). Since our founding in 1986, WICE has grown to represent over 5,000 women educators across all six geo-political zones of Nigeria, with more than 120 active chapters.
WICE publishes the Journal of Women in Colleges of Education (JOWICE), organises national conferences, provides welfare support, runs the Miniature WICE programme for female students, and fosters international linkages for its members.
To promote the professional growth, welfare, and academic excellence of women educators in Nigerian Colleges of Education through advocacy, research, and collaboration.
